Founders and longtime friends Janice Blumberg and Matina Saltsman had talked about opening a store together for years, but the time never seemed right…until the winter of 2008 when all the stars seemed to align – a concerted vision, a gathering of the most beautiful collections, a wonderful little space, and a mutual desire to turn a dream into reality. And so, that was when Be came to be.
