GABRIELLA

Gabriella graduated from The Ohio State University where she got a degree in Psychology. Working here since the beginning, Gabriella has had many opportunities to utilize her talents in multi tasking, working hard, and building relationships with customers and stores. She has enjoyed being a part of the vision, seeing the growth of the company, and having the opportunities to travel. For her, this is a dream job because she gets to be a part of so many different aspects of the company. Before working for Heather, she backpacked across South America and traveled through Europe, but had never really seen the USA. As this company grows, it has given her the chance to travel through and truly see her own country. Her first piece was given to her by Heather on her birthday. When she opened the box there were two matching charms that read Kiki & Lala, which were the childhood nicknames she and her twin had had for each other. Heather had made the two matching charms so that Gabriella could keep one for herself and give the other to her twin sister.  Another favorite piece is a gold cuff bracelet that she never takes off with the names of her immediate family members stamped onto it.  The next thing Gabriella wants to add to her extensive collection is one of the new charms we are designing to bring awareness to the oil spill in the Gulf.

JAEDA

Jaeda attended Ohio University where she got a degree in Psychology. She is an asset to the HMJ family because of how personable and outgoing she is.  She loves the face-to-face interaction she gets when she travels for training or shows and the realm of creativity within the line. As she says, people express themselves by what they wear and this company takes it one step further by giving people the resources to design their own pieces and express themselves through their jewelry. Jaeda is a huge fan of all things green gold and loves the stamps since we are always creating more.  One of Jaeda's most special pieces on her necklace is the large ID tag she has with the words "let it go" written in Braille.  She loves to rub it as a reminder of this mantra whenever things get crazy. Another piece close to her heart is the small green gold charm with a lucky star on the front. The back of this charm has her father's initials.  Since he passed away, she loves to wear this charm for him.  Jaeda's next piece will be a mini green gold globe with a diamond in Ohio and another in Paris, since this year she finally made it to another country!

MICHELLE

Michelle attended Ohio University where she received a degree in Education and minored in both English and Social Studies.  At HMJ, she enjoys working in a fast-paced, thriving company and is thankful for the opportunities she has had to help further the company's growth. She loves the intimate and selfless environment where she feels that everyone works towards the greater goal of creating beautiful artwork.  At the end of the day, she feels fulfilled knowing that everyone had a significant part in the success.  On her various necklaces, she keeps memories from many different times in her life.  One of her favorite charms, and the one she gets so much feedback on, is her ID tag that says "3 Generations" which represents her mom, her grandma, and herself.  On the back it has three raised gold lucky stars, one for each of them. It was the first charm she ever designed and it remains the charm closest to her heart.  Michelle loves designs with Braille because of their tactile and three-dimensional nature.  The next charm on her list would be for her Grandma Lona. The charm would say Judge Lona because she teasingly calls her grandmother that, after her resemblance to Judge Judy.

LYNDSEY

Lyndsey attended Ohio University and majored in Retail Merchandising. Her strengths lie in her incredible people skills and ability to help people illustrate their life with jewelry. She loves working with such a creative bunch of people and being in a company that gives you so much room for growth and success.  In the office, Lyndsey has taken it upon herself to assign a funny nickname to all of the other employees. Lyndsey's favorite charms are ones that are covered with inside jokes and nicknames, which is why she just got that exact thing for herself! She also loves the double wide frame oval and the pieces that relate to animals. Lyndsey hopes to one day soon create a piece that she would wear on her wedding day with the date and location. The idea would then be to pass it on to her daughter so that she could wear it as a reminder of the day her parents were married.

STEPHANIE

Stephanie graduated from Ohio University with a major in International Business and Marketing and a minor in Geography.  She is very easy going and positive which makes her a great person to have around the office. She says that what she loves most about HMJ is the concept behind it of cherishing who you are. In addition, she loves how everyone who works here really believes in that message, which strengthens the work environment.  A personal favorite design for her is the Braille, because she loves how someone could have it on a charm and no one else would have to know what it says or means. On her next charm, she wants to use this idea and have something about looking at the bright side written in Braille.
