KELLI

Kelli graduated from Kent State University with a major in Photo Illustration.  Being responsible for the product photography and imaging, Kelli has the opportunity to see all the finished pieces before they leave.  She has always had an amazing ability of implementing solutions for new ways of photographing the jewelry. Kelli loves working in the office and sharing her quirky sense of humor with the various people here. She loves the variety of ways people choose to tell their story and use all the different parts of the line to express what's important.  Her favorite pieces are ones with lowercase font or the inside jokes that are a collection of funny memories scattered onto a charm.  Soon, Kelli plans to get a large ID that will represent the bond between her grandmother, her mother, and she.  As the only women in a giant Italian family, they are very close. She also wants a charm for her dogs and one for a quote from a song that reminds her to always stay ahead and be thinking of what's next.

SHURAN

Shuran attended RISD where she majored in illustration.  She loves getting the chance to contribute to the creative process behind both the design and the presentation of the collection. Shuran also loves the warm, friendly and fun-spirited work environment of our office.  She finds the line to be so interesting because it combines quirkiness and individuality with a simple and timeless aesthetic.  She thinks some of the things that customers come up with are very funny and creative, like one piece in particular that was stamped with, "I'll love you until fish learn to fly through a giant meat pie."  Shuran has yet to own any HMJ, but she would one day like to own a mini globe with diamonds of her travels.  She is also excited to soon reveal our set of new zodiac charms, and she also loves to see new caged stones come up from the studio.

LEIGH

Leigh received her BFA from Miami University where she majored in painting and printmaking.  Since creativity is the bulk of her background, she takes pleasure in teaming up with others who also share an innovative mindset and have a passion for producing beautiful works of art.  She loves hearing all of the meanings behind the jewelry and is happy to be a part of sharing those stories.  One of her personal design favorites in the HMJ collection is the belt buckle which was designed around Cleveland themes, because she grew up here and feels the nostalgia for home.  Leigh would like to start her collection by making a charm specific to her with roots; she finds them to be visually stimulating and thinks the spirit of them would work well with the collection.  She also wants to design a charm with pillars because she grew up in a house with large white pillars and huge front porch.  Later, she wants to try to incorporate the number six for the six members in her family.

KATHERINE

Katherine holds a Bachelor's in Fine Art from one of our hometown favorites, The Cleveland Institute of Art, where she majored in painting.  We have her focusing her talents in the graphics department, but she signed on to join HMJ because of the pool of talented and creative team members we have!  The collection is completely unique, and she loves how each charm tells its own story.  Katherine plays favorites with the Harriet Collection, especially the ones with the gold backings.  When she starts her collection, she wants to design a charm for each family member since they're so important to her.
